Possible new nova in Crux. Discovered by John Seach, Grafton, NSW, Australia. Object visible on 3 images taken with DSLR with 85 mm f/1.4 lens. No object identified at position on 3 reference images taken with same instrument on 2025 September 6.365 UT, limiting magnitude 11.8. No minor planet at position. No object on DSS2-red. No variable star on VSX.

Suspect visible in patrol images taken with a Canon 800D camera + 85mm f/1.2 lens. Position end figures 24s.29, 06.5". Unfiltered magnitude 12.1. Suspect not visible on patrol images taken on Sept 27.8132 UT to a limit of magnitude 12.5. Andrew Pearce, Nedlands, Western Australia.

Follow up observation using 135 mm F3.5 lens and CMOS, remotely operated from Rio Hurtado, Chile. Magnitude 11.2 unfiltered. November 30.3382 UT. John Seach, Grafton, NSW, Australia.

Position end figures 24s.40, 08.3" measured with 0.05m refractor + CMOS camera, J2000, Gaia DR2 positions. Transient position is within 0.2" of Gaia DR3 catalogue star 6059209882617790336 (20.7 G mag). Photometry - TB = 13.35, V = 12.39, TR = 11.31.
