We discovered this object on Feb.22.78 2013 UT in the Tsinghua University-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS), and the magnitude of the object on unfiltered CCD was about 19.4 mag.




2013 02 19.947

Prediscovery. This possible supernova was observed on Feb. 19.947 by V. Nevski, E. Romas and I. Molotov with 0.4-m reflector + CCD at ISON-Kislovodsk observatory (Russia, MPCCOD: D00), yield position end figures 33s.21, 51".7 (USNO B1.0 catalogue) and the following magnitude 18.9. 2013 02 24.466

This possible supernova in IC 3622 was detected with 10 x 15 min images using a red filter Astrometry: RA 12 39 33.27 Dec +15 25 52.2 Photometry: 18.33 +/- 0.15 R (R for ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
