In a stack of images totalling 8 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 50s.74, 47".3 and magnitude 17.2. This possible supernova in UGC 8374 was detected with 5 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 13 18 50.78 Dec +72 45 47.7 Photometry: 17.63 +/- 0.27 L (V as ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
