Several confirming unfiltered CCD images for this object were as also taken on Jul 19.36 by Stuart Parker using a 30-cm Astro-Tech AT12RC Ritchey-Chretien astrograph (+ ST10 camera), Parkdale Observatory, New Zealand, for the Backyard Supernova Search Team (BOSS)

Atel 7819 refers to spectroscopic confirmation of Type II at LCO.

2015 08 19.81331

This transient was observed on 2015 08 19.81331 by G. Masi and P. Catalano, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 16.8 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 43.10; 19.1 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
