Simone Leonini, Siena, Italy, report the discovery by S. Leonini, L.M. Tinjaca Ramirez, G. Guerrini and P. Rosi of a PSN in PGC050171 (mag. about +18.01CR +/-0.20 – USNO A2) on unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag. about +18.7) taken on 2013 April 04.00919 UT at the Montarrenti Observatory (C88) in the course of an automatic survey of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. Telescope/Detector: RC 0.53m f/8.7 + U47. Astrometry: R.A. 14h04m19.63s +/-0.17”, Decl. -07degrees03arcmin06.9arcsec. +/-0.18” - equinox 2000.0. Confirmations images on 2013 April 06.375 UT (mag. about + 18.26CR – USNO A2) by J.Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia (0.51m RCOS + STL11K)and on 2013 April 06.38403 UT (mag. about + 18.14CR +/-0.16 – USNO A2) by S.Leonini remotely by iTelescope.net (0.43m Planewave CDK + PL6303E) from Mayhill, New Mexico, USA. Nothing is visible at this position on POSS images and our past images. No known minor planets are marked in that position for the time of our observation.
