2013 09 17.428

Discovered by T. Takahashi, Miyagi-ken, Japan, on a frame taken on 2013 September 17.428 UT using 0.25-m f/4.2 reflector + unfiltered CCD under the limiting magnitude= 16.9. This PSN was confirmed on the following ten frames taken during 37 minutes after discovery. He has checked nothing star at this location on DSS (Limiting magnitude = about 18).

2013 09 17.761

This transient was observed on 2013 09 17.761 by Gianluca Masi, Francesca Nocentini and Patrick Schmeer, remotely using the 17" robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Ceccano, Italy. Unfiltered images show a source at mag. 14.2 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 26.43s 21.2" (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.15" on both axes).
