2013 11 16.830

Discovered on ONLY one unchecked frame taken on three days ago by K. Itagaki, Yamagata, Japan, using 0.50-m f/6.8 reflector + unfiltered CCD at Takanezawa station, Tochigi-ken, remotely under the limiting magnitude= 17.5. Itagaki writes nothing is visible at this location on his past frame taken on 2007 Feb. 19.715 UT (limiting mag.= 19.5) using 0.60-m f/5.7 reflector + unfiltered CCD at Yamagata but there is no recent frame. Position and magnitude were measured from UCAC3 catalog. See a discovery image at http://www.k-itagaki.jp/images/5557.jpg.

2013 11 20.756

Mag.= 15.5, position end figures 28s.56, 24".0 observed by T. Noguchi, Chiba-ken, Japan, from four stacked 30-s frames (limit mag.= 17.0) using 0.23-m f/6.3 Schmidt-Cassegrain + unfiltered CCD. See a posted image at http://park8.wakwak.com/~ngc/images/PSNinNGC5557.jpg.

2013 11 20.800

Mag.= 15.4, position end figures 28s.51, 24".2 observed by K. Itagaki, Yamagata, Japan, from an unfiltered CCD frame using 0.50-m f/6.8 reflector remotely at the Takanezawa station.

2013 11 21.50113

Mag.=15.5R, position end figures 28s.55, 24".1 (UCAC4 reference stars) remotely using 0.25-m f/3.4 astrograph + SBIG ST-10XME (T4, iTelescope.NET, Mayhill, NM, H06). Magnitude and position were measured on an image composed from 3-frames which were taken by each 120-seconds exposure under the limiting magnitude = 17.0. Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan. 2013 12 05.130

This transient was observed on 2013 12 05.130 by Gianluca Masi, Francesca Nocentini and Patrick Schmeer, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 15.9 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 28.51s; 24.4" (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
