2014 04 20.580

Object confirmed on 2014 04 20.580 with 0.43m robotic telescope T17 of iTelescope.net in Siding Spring, Australia on two 180 clear exposures. Object present on both images. Photometry yielded 20.2 +/- 0.4 clear with V as reference. Comparison stars are from UCAC4. S. Howerton Image: https://www.flickr.com/photos/watchingthesky/13929578352/

2014 04 21.325

This possible supernova in PGC 51192 was detected with 3 x 10 min images using a clear filter Photometry: Mag 19.13 +/- 0.10 (V for ref; USNOA2) Astrometry: RA 14 19 29.05 Dec -05 37 31.3 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia. 2014 04 21.940

This transient was observed on 2014 04 21.940 by Gianluca Masi, Francesca Nocentini and Patrick Schmeer, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 corrected Dall-Kirkham robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 19.5 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 28.99; 31.5 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
