We discovered this object on May 20.75 2013 UT in the Tsinghua University-NAOC Transient Survey (TNTS),and the magnitude of the object on unfiltered CCD was about 16.5 mag. We got additional image on May 22, with unfiltered magnitude of 16.7 mag. A spectrum taken on May 31.65 2013 UT shows it is a 91T-like type Ia supernova at about three weeks after the maximum light.

This possible supernova in USNOA2 1050-07909606 was detected with 3 x 15 min images using a luminance filter Astrometry: RA 16 22 43.20 Dec +18 57 35.2 Photometry: Mag 17.07 +/- 0.25 (V for ref) These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
