2014 06 06.88

F. Ciabattari, E. Mazzoni and S. Donati report the discovery of an apparent supernova (unfiltered magnitude = 17.4) on images (limiting magnitude 19.5) obtained on June 06.005 UT and June 06.88 UT with a 0.5m Newtonian telescope + CCD FLI Proline 4710 camera at Borgo a Mozzano - Italy, in the course of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. The new object is located at A.R. = 17h42m32s.16, Decl. = +67°35'41".8 (equinox 2000.0, astrometry with respect to USNO-B1 stars) which is 2 arcsec east and 8 arcsec north of the centre of Galaxy NGC 6456.

2014 06 07.84220

This transient was observed on 2014 06 07.84220 by G. Masi, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 corrected Dall-Kirkham robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 17.8 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 32.09; 41.2 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).

2014 06 09.04296

This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 32s.08, 40".7 and magnitude 18.8.
