Discovered by T. Kojima, Gunma-ken, Japan, using Canon Digital Camera + 150-mm f/2.8 lens, who has confirmed the presence of this star (mag.= 12.2) on July 17.598 UT (limit mag.= 13.5). The investigation of Kojima's past patrol frames, using same instrument, shows that this star was not visible on 2011 Apr. 9, July 5, Sept. 23, 2012 Mar. 25, Apr. 14, May 23, June 22 and June 27 UT under the limiting mag.= 13.5. Kojima writes that this star was not cataloged on AAVSO, 2MASS and DSS. But he found a star (mag.= 14 - 15) located at 18 19 38 -19 07.5 on ASAS catalog.

PNV J18193700-1907400 2012 07 17.99338 V magnitude = 12.7; position RA 18 19 36.94, Decl -19 07 40.2 (2000.0, USNO-B1.0), remotely using 0.43-m f/6.8 astrograph + CCD (SBIG STL-11000M) at the AstroCamp Observatory. Nerpio, Spain (I89). Position was measured on an image composed from 2-frames which were taken by each 60-seconds exposure under the limiting magnitude = about 16. Nothing is visible at the position on DSS2 (POSS2/UKSTU RED, 1991 Aug.30), limiting mag.= about 19. Observer T. Yusa, Osaki, Japan.
