2013 07 31.9540

This transient was observed on 2013 07 31.9540 by Gianluca Masi and Francesca Nocentini, remotely using the 17" robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility in Ceccano, Italy. Unfiltered images show the source at mag. 17.0 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 37.31s; 21.4" (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.1" on both axes).

This object was observed by Federica Luppi and Luca Buzzi from Schiaparelli Observatory, Varese, Italy. In a stack of images totalling 5 minutes of unfiltered exposure time, the object has position end figures 37s.31, 21".3 and magnitude 16.6. L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J18513735+2338206 in UGC 11369. Object visible on 1x150sec image remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Aug 01.3418, 2013. Object located at 18h 51m 37s.30 +/- 0".19, +40d 34' 09".0 +/- 0".16 (UCAC-4) with magnitude 16.2U (mag. limit ~19.0m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images.
