Following the posting on the Central Bureau's Transient Object Confirmation Page about a possible transient (TCP J192827+041943) in Aql we performed some follow-up remotely through Gras network near Mayhill, NM using a 0.25-m, f/3.4 reflector + CCD We can't confirm this transient. We searched an area with a radius of 15' around the reported discovery coordinates J2000 Position: 19 28 27.00 +04 19 43.0 At about 12' away from the reported discovery coordinates there is the minor planet (185) Eunike (unfiltered magnitude 10.8) while at about 4' away there is the Mira variable DM Aql (unfiltered magnitude 10.6) Kind Regards, Ernesto Guido and Giovanni Sostero
