P. Camilleri & H. Williams - Blue Mountains Observatory, Leura, NSW, Australia, report confirmation of this object on 2013 May 14.64289UT at the following position RA 19h 49m 32.54s DEC -70d 13' 20.1" (2000), at magnitude 17.5v. Using a 0.61-m F/6.3 Planewave CDK reflector + SBIG ST-8300M CCD.

This possible supernova in IC 4892 was detected with 34 x 2.75 min images using an infrared filter Astrometry: RA 19 49 32.90 Dec -70 13 19.2 Photometry: 17.91 +/- 0.26 IR > 700 nm (R for ref) These data were collected by Joseph Brimacombe, Cairns, Australia.
