L. Elenin (Lyubertsy, Russia) and I. Molotov (Moscow, Russia) confirm an apparent supernova PSN J20233626-2816434 in ESO 462-16. Object visible on 3x300sec images remotely taken at ISON-NM Observatory (Mayhill, NM, USA) with 0.45-m f/2.8 telescope + CCD (KAF09000) on Jul. 13.3254. Object located at 20h 23m 36s.26 +/- 0".12, -28d 16' 42".6 +/- 0".18 (NOMAD) and have magnitude about 15.1U (mag. limit ~19.4m). Nothing is visible at this position on the POSS and POSSII images.
