2015 11 7.79

F. Ciabattari, E. Mazzoni and M. Rossi report the discovery of an apparent supernova (unfiltered magnitude = 17.2) on images (limiting magnitude 19.5) obtained on November 7.79 UT and on November 8.72 UT with a 0.5m Newtonian telescope + CCD FLI Proline 4710 camera at Borgo a Mozzano - Italy, in the course of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. The new object is located at A.R. = 21h31m23s.75, Decl. = +43°36'31".2 (equinox 2000.0, astrometry with respect to UCAC-2 stars) which is 4 arcsec est and 14 arcsec north of the centre of Galaxy PGC 90388.

2015 11 08.76664

This transient was observed on 2015 11 08.76664 by G. Masi, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 120-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 16.8 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 23.70; 30.1 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
