Simone Leonini, Siena, Italy, report the pre-discovery by P. Rosi, M. Conti and himself of the PSN in IC5145 (mag. about +17.8 – USNO B1) on unfiltered CCD image (limiting mag. about +19.5) taken on 2014 May. 09.0743UT at the Montarrenti Observatory in the course of an automatic survey of the Italian Supernovae Search Project. Telescope: RC D=0.53m f/8.7. Detector: U47. Astrometry: R.A. 21h54m23.29s, Decl.+15°09’22.4”- 2000.0. Nothing is visible at the position of the apparent supernova on image taken on 2014 Apr. 25.1236 (limiting mag about +19.5). 2014 05 29.9680

This transient was observed on 2014 05 29.9680 by Gianluca Masi, remotely using the 17"-f/6.8 corrected Dall-Kirkham robotic unit part of the Virtual Telescope Project facility, at Bellatrix Astronomical Observatory in Ceccano, Italy. 180-seconds exposures, unfiltered, show the source at mag. 17.5 (R mags for the reference stars from UCAC-4). We also performed astrometry, getting the following end figures: 23.51; 22.8 (J2000.0, mean residuals of 0.2" on both axes).
