This probable supernova in ESO 108-21 was detected with a 30 second unfiltered image using Mag 16.0 R for ref; UCAC4, Greg Bock (BOSS), Runaway Bay Observatory, Gold Coast, Australia.

Possible Pre discovery of this probable supernova in ESO 108-21 was taken on Aug 10.435 at mag 18.7 limiting magintude 19 using for ref UCAC4 on a 30 sec un filtered image by Stu Parker at Parkdale Observatory as part of the BOSS supernova search.

This Type 1a supernova in ESO 108-IG21 was detected with 12 x 10 min images using a clear filter Photometry: Mag 16.96 +/- 0.20 C (V for ref; USNOA2) Astrometry: RA 22 15 19.52 Dec -65 32 53.6 These data were collected remotely by Joseph Brimacombe, Coral Towers Observatory, Cairns, Australia.
