Hanjie Tan (Astronomical Institute of Charles University), Jiangao Ruan, Guoyou Sun, Mi Zhang, Jingyuan Zhao (Xingming Observatory), Quanzhi Ye (Department of Astronomy, University of Maryland), Xing Gao (Xingming Observatory), report a variable star candidate (G=15.00+-0.01, 29.70609 UT; G=17.89+-0.08, 29.68900 UT). The source appears to correspond to object Gaia DR2 1918003515312607616 (G=17.38) in the Gaia DR2. Discovery was made on several 120-s survey images (limiting mag about 19.0) taken by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory #3 (N88) around Oct. 29.70609, 2021 UT using a unfiltered CCD (0.3-m f/3.6 reflector). Follow-up observations were performed by Xing Gao at Xingming Observatory #3 (N88) around Nov. 02.58632, 2021 UT using a unfiltered CCD (+ 0.6-m f/8 Ritchey-Chretien telescope). Several 90-s survey images (limiting mag about 21.0) showed that the candidate has decreased to 17.47+-0.03G, 02.58632 UT; 17.50+-0.03G, 02.58759 UT. The candidate likely to be an UV star.
