COMET ARAYA (1972 XII)
Mrs. Betty Mintz Blanco, Cerro Tololo Interamerican Observatory,
communicates the following precise positions, measured by her
from plates taken with the Curtis Schmidt telescope by G. Araya and
A. Gomez. The comet was not found on 1974 Oct. 10 and 11 and must
have been fainter than magnitude about 18.

OBSERVATIONS OF MINOR PLANETS
The following precise positions of the Apollo objects 1972 XA
and 1971 UA have been obtained by M. Mattei and G. Schwartz with
the 155-cm reflector at Harvard College Observatory's Agassiz
Station. Measurers: J. H. Bulger and C. Y. Shao. The image of 1971
UA is trailed and the measurement uncertain.
