COMET KOHOUTEK (1975b)
     Dr. Lubos Kohoutek, Hamburg Observatory, Bergedorf, telexes
that he has discovered a comet, as follows:

     1975 UT          R. A. (1950) Decl.      m1
     Feb.  9.77222    3 47.2     +19 26       14
          27.78021    2 46.5     +15 47       13

The object is diffuse, with condensation or nucleus, nothing
reported about a tail.

NEW X-RAY SOURCE
     C. J. Eyles, F. D. Rosenberg, G. K. Skinner and A. P. Willmore,
Mullard Space Science Laboratory and Birmingham University, report
that Ariel 5 has observed a new x-ray source of approximately 1500
Uhuru counts per second close to the galactic center. The position,
R.A. = 17h42m.55, Decl. = -29o.02 (equinox 1950.0), is accurate to +/- 3' but
is being improved by current observations, which will continue
until Mar. 1.
