MXB1659-29
     J. Grindlay, Center for Astrophysics, and the HEAO A3 Group
announce the identification of MXB1659-29 with a faint ultraviolet
stellar object (V ~ 18) at R.A. = 16h58m55s.5, Decl. = -29o52'26" (equinox
1950.0) to about 5" accuracy. This object was detected as a
transient-like x-ray source on Mar. 6 (IAUC 3190), and optical
monitoring for time variability should therefore be conducted.
