H 2252-035
     G. Williams and M. Johns, University of Michigan and McGraw-Hill
Observatory, report: "Spectrophotometric observations reveal a
velocity curve, determined from the H-alpha emission feature, with a
semiamplitude of 151 +/- 10 km/s and a displacement of -18 +/- 10 km/s.
Combination of these observations with those of Patterson and Price
(preprint; see also IAUC 3511) gave a more accurately determined
period of 0.14959 +/- 0.00003 day. Linear-polarization measurements
made on Sept. 1 and 2 were folded with the 805-s x-ray, 858.7-s optical
and above 0.14959-day orbital periods. No significant modulation
was found at any of these periods to a limit of 0.2 percent
in the polarization."

If the middle digit of the middle group of figures on your
address label is a 2, then the last four figures show the IAUC No. up
to which you have paid. If this number is 3528 or less, fewer than
ten issues remain in your subscription, and renewal is now desirable
to ensure continuity of service. The special renewal rate is
normally $12.00 for 50 issues or $24.00 for 100. The regular rate,
for billed subscribers, is $40.00 for 100 issues, and the last four
figures on the address label show the month of billing. Special
subscribers are advised that missing issues can be supplied only at
the regular rate of 40c per Circular.
