PERIODIC COMET HALLEY (1982i)
The following precise position has been measured by R. M.
West, European Southern Observatory, from a 45-min exposure by H.
Pedersen using a charge-coupled device on the Danish 1.5-m reflector
at La Silla. A preliminary determination of the magnitude of
the comet is V = 24.7 +/- 0.3.
