SUPERNOVA 2000ck IN IC 4355
     T. Puckett, Mountain Town, GA, reports the discovery of an
apparent supernova (mag 17.0) on an unfiltered CCD frame (limiting
mag 20.2) taken with the Puckett Observatory 0.60-m automated
supernova patrol telescope on May 26.28 UT. SN 2000ck is located
at R.A. = 13h58m06s.15, Decl. = +28o25'13".0 (equinox 2000.0),
which is 0".3 west and 8".8 south of the center of IC 4355. The
new object was also present on an unfiltered CCD frame taken on May
27.09, but it does not appear on Palomar Sky Survey images taken on
1996 July 9 (limiting mag about 21.0) or 1988 Mar. 20 (limiting mag
about 21.0).

COMET C/2000 K1 (LINEAR)
Additional observations on May 27 by L. Amburgey (Fitchburg,

prediscovery astrometry from LINEAR and the following parabolic
orbital elements, appear on MPEC 2000-K26.
