SUPERNOVA 2000eo IN MCG -2-9-3
     W. Li, University of California at Berkeley, on behalf of
LOTOSS (cf. IAUC 7514), reports the independent discovery of SN
2000eo (cf. IAUC 7524) on unfiltered images taken with the 0.8-m
Katzman Automatic Imaging Telescope (KAIT) on Nov. 25.4 UT
(magnitude about 15.5). Li provides the following position end
figures for SN 2000eo: 08s.18, 54".2. A KAIT unfiltered image of
the same field taken on Nov. 5.4 showed nothing at the position of
the supernova (limiting magnitude about 18.5). Notice that SN
2000eo has brightened about 3.7 mag since Nov. 16.
