     C. Bartolini, A. Guarnieri, A. Piccioni and M. Teodorani,
Department of Astronomy, Bologna University, communicate that
photoelectric photometry of HDE 245770 (cf. IAUC 4913) obtained
at Bologna Observatory with the 0.60-m reflector on Nov. 13 and
27 indicate that the star is 0.25 fainter in V than last March,
B-V is 0.05 redder, and U-B is 0.05 more negative. Provisional
reductions yield: Nov. 13.97 UT, V = 9.18, B-V = +0.48,
U-B = -0.65; Nov. 28.17, 9.21, +0.48, -0.66.

EDITORIAL NOTICE
If you are not a current subscriber but do regularly read these
Circulars by e-mail or on electronic bulletin boards, consider taking
out your own subscription -- at least to the printed edition, which
still represents the official version of the Circulars. There is a
special (non-invoiced) rate of only $4.50 per month, and checks (for
six or twelve months, say) should be made out to "Central Bureau for
Astronomical Telegrams" and sent to the postal address at the top of
this Circular; if invoices are required, the rate is $7.50 per month.
Although these low rates have not increased since April 1986, the rate
at which the Circulars are issued and the costs involved in preparing
them have increased substantially. A significant increase in the
number of subscribers would alleviate the problem and necessitate
neither a modest increase in the subscription rate to the printed
edition nor a much larger increase in the rate for those who actually
do subscribe to the e-mail edition, which is currently included as
part of our Computer Service for an additional monthly charge of $4.50
(special) or $7.50 (regular).
Effective December 1, however, there will be an increase in the
line-charge rate for those items published on the Circulars that are
subject to these charges. The new charge will be $15.00 per line plus
$40.00 per item (the latter reduced to $30.00 for shared items).
