1950 LA
     E. Roemer, University of Arizona, has reported the tentative
recovery of this object (cf. UAIC 1274, 1275, 1282, 1290) some 2 mm
from the edge of one of two search plates obtained with the Steward
Observatory's 229-cm reflector, Kitt Peak. Subsequent observations
at Harvard College Observatory confirm the recovery. The object is
located about 0o.5 from the position predicted by B. G. Marsden, this
prediction having been based on C. Kowal's accurate measurements of
the discovery plate (1950 June 19) and measurements provided recently
by L. E. Cunningham of plates taken at Mount Wilson Observatory
(1950 Oct. 9, 10 and Nov. 12). The current positions are:

indicated correction of Delta-T = +1.573 days has been applied.
